24-year-old victim of Madras shooting is identified by the district attorney
The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office has identified the 24-year-old man who was shot and killed in Madras on Monday.
According to district attorney Steve Leriche, Madras resident Edgar Miguel Torres-Aguilera was shot “several times” in the Strawberry Heights area and passed away while being transported by emergency helicopter to St. Charles Bend.
Police are currently looking into the event, and no arrests or suspects have been named as of yet.
Police are asking the public for help in solving the mystery of a white car whose window may have been shot out.
Anyone with information on the car or the event is asked to get in touch with the Oregon State Police, according to the police.
