A 3-year-old girl from North Carolina is missing and believed to be in extreme danger, according to the Virginia State Police, which has issued a missing/endangered alert on behalf of the Virginia Beach City Police Department.

The missing child’s name is Samalea Monet Daniels, 3, and she has brown eyes, black hair, and is 2-foot-10 and 25 pounds. It is unknown what she was last wearing.

Police say Samalea was taken from her father’s house in Mecklenburg County, N.C.

Where was Samalea Monet Daniels last seen?

3-year-old Samalea Monet Daniels missin girl was last seen at her great-grandmother’s house in Virginia Beach on Stonington Court at around 9 a.m. Friday. Virginia Beach Police said she was originally reported as missing on June 20 by her father.

The two may be traveling in a gray 2011 Ford Escape with Virginia plates N4M45T3.

Samalea Monet’s father contacted Virginia Beach police detectives about a missing report he filed in North Carolina on July 14, and a Virginia Beach judge ordered Samalea Monet’s return to her father, according to officers.

Virginia Beach police said Samalea Monet was taken from her home in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, where she lived with her legal guardian, her father.

Samalea Monet was taken by her mother, Tianna Daniels, 29, and was last seen at her grandmother’s home in Stonington Court, Virginia Beach, according to police.
