A 26-year-old man was fatally shot early at Rock Island
According to rock island police- Officers found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Unity Point Health – Trinity Rock Island, where he succumbed to his injuries, the release says.
press release from Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson, the victim has been identified as Tavian Petersen-Brown, age 26 of Davenport. Monday, October 24 is the scheduled day of the autopsy.
The Rock Island Police Department, the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and the Rock Island County Coroner’s Office still view this as an open and ongoing investigation.
The case is being investigated as a homicide by the Rock Island Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. No arrests have been made as of Saturday morning and no further information is available.
