Simultaneously, Mr. Firtel assumed the position of Managing Director and Corporate Counsel at Bomel Companies, where he oversaw the operation of the firm’s commercial real estate portfolio, valued at over $500 million. Mr. Firtel acquired expertise in the management, entitlement, “greening,” and redevelopment of commercial properties, with a particular emphasis on historic endeavors, during his tenure at Bomel.
Firtel was a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, he graduated from the Pepperdine School of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.). He possesses a California law license, is a Green Associate with the United States Green Building Council, and volunteers for a variety of charitable organizations and serves on multiple committees. Mr. Firtel, his spouse, and their two children currently reside in the Los Angeles area.
