Alex Andrew Bohm, known to all as Andrew, a beloved professor at the Tufts University School of Medicine, suddenly passed away on August 28, 2023.

Who Was Andrew Bohm?

He was born in 1965 in New York City to parents Susan and Alex Bohm and received his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, where he met his wife, Celia Harrison. The two had been married since 1996 and lived in Boston for over 25 years.

Andrew Alex Bohm, an Associate Professor of developmental, molecular, and chemical biology, held a significant position within the Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) communities. His contributions extended beyond the classroom, encompassing teaching, research, and dedicated service.
