The tight-knit community of Keyser and Mineral County is reeling from the devastating news of the untimely death of Bradley Sommers, a beloved figure known for his leadership and kindhearted nature. The tragic car accident that claimed Bradley’s life has left family, friends, and the entire community in profound grief.
Who is Bradley Ryan Sommers?
Bradley was a proud member of the Mineral County FFA. Some of the awards he earned included Star Chapter Agribusiness Award in 2020 and the Outstanding FFA Member his senior year in 2021. He earned his State FFA degree in the summer of 2021 and he will be receiving his American FFA degree this November of 2023. Bradley was the 1st President of the newly formed Mineral County FFA Alumni and Supporters.

Bradley Ryan Sommers Obituary and Funeral Service
The Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, will warmly welcome friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for visitation.
A funeral service to honor Bradley Sommers will take place on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Church, Knobley Road, Keyser. Pastor Jerry Eisenhour will be officiating the service. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at the church starting one hour before the ceremony.
Following the funeral service, Bradley will be laid to rest at the Biertown Cemetery in Rawlings, MD.
