California Costa Mesa shooting: One Killed, Two Injured in Costa Mesa ‘Fatal’ shooting

According to California’s Costa Mesa (AP) report, one person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting in Costa Mesa, California, on Thursday night, according to the police.

At about 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Bay Street regarding a shooting. Officers are at the scene and have closed the street to investigate what is now a homicide with one person deceased and two others in critical condition.

Two people were in critical condition, according to the officials. While investigating the incident, police closed off the street, although they later reported that no arrests had been made.

The gunfire looked to be an isolated incident, according to police in the city approximately 40 miles (64 kilometers) south of Los Angeles, and there was “no danger to the surrounding neighborhood.”

No arrest has been made. This appears to be an isolated incident and at this time there is no concern to the surrounding community.
