Danny Weaver Obituary, Death Cause: Hall County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the death of Sgt, Danny Weaver of Dawsonville, who died at the age of 53. Weaver retired from the sheriff’s office in 2013 and passed away on Tuesday, November 1.

Sgt. Weaver’s entire career was built around law enforcement, all of those years serving the Hall County Community with the sheriff’s office.

Danny was hired by the agency in 1991 and graduated from the police academy later the same year. He transferred to the Uniform Patrol Division in 1992, with notable service at the 1996 Olympic Games and on the SWAT Team.

From Patrol, Weaver transferred to the MANS (Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad) Unit in 1997, before being promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2007 at the Jail Division. Sgt. Weaver was honored as Officer of the Year by the agency in 2009, prior to his retirement four years later.

He will be greatly missed by his teammate, loved ones, and family. May they be strengthened to bear the loss. May his soul rest in peace.
