Jeffrey Hull Death – Well-known Pediatrician Dr. Jeffrey Hull of Decatur, Alabama has sadly passed away. He died on Sunday 17th December 2023 at the age of 77 surrounded by his beloved family. He was confirmed read through a Facebook post that reads “I’m so sad to hear of Dr Hull’s passing He truly loved children and certainly made a positive difference in Decatur for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family”. The actual cause of Dr. Hull’s death has not been known.
Dr. Hull attended university in Texas and then went on to get his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 31, 1945. At UTMB, he completed his residency in pediatrics. As a devoted veteran, Dr. Hull served in the Army and the Navy. Before moving to Decatur in 1991 to be near his wife’s family, he spent seven years practicing pediatric medicine in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Hull became well-known in Decatur’s pediatrics community for the next quarter of a century.
Over the course of his long career, he has earned the respect and confidence of his peers and patients alike thanks to his exceptional medical knowledge and unwavering dedication to the well-being of his younger patients. Many people will remember Dr. Hull with respect and thanks for his exceptional ability to identify and meet the unique requirements of each child and their family.
His young patients feel safe and cared for because he takes the time to get to know them, which helps calm their fears and encourages them to open up. Dr. Hull is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie; sons, Andrew (Kathleen), John (Simone), Mark (Pam) and Matthew (Liv); grandchildren, Eli, Jeffrey, Emory, Lillian, Mark Allen and Wayland; brother, Dr. Brian Hull (Nancy) of Wichita Falls, Texas; sister, Nancy Clough (David) of Omaha, Nebraska, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayland E. and Helen V. Hull.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at First Bible Church with Pastor Steve Bateman officiating. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
