Elizabeth Turpin Obituary, Death Cause:  A Lexington, Kentucky, woman is seeking parole by manipulating her alleged lesbian lover and another, a colleague, to plot the murder of her husband Michael Turpin. Kentucky native Elizabeth Turpin and accused lesbian mistress Karen Brown have been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the 1986 murder of her husband Michael Turpin, the Lexington Herald reported.

Michael was stabbed 19 times before his body was thrown into the pond at the Lakeside Golf Course in Lexington. Elizabeth, Brown and their colleague Keith Bouchard were all ultimately found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. Bouchard’s life sentence has been confirmed, so he will remain imprisoned for the rest of the year. Both Brown and Elizabeth are now trying to escape, but were strongly opposed by Michael’s family at Monday’s hearing.

Prosecutors told the court that Elizabeth Turpin convinced Bouchard and Brown to kill her husband so she could receive $60,000 in life insurance.
