Emiterio Quival, also known as Terry, was a loving father, grandfather, and devoted companion who passed away at his home in Santa Cruz on August 6, 2023. He was 79 years old and had recently celebrated his birthday. He is survived by his partner Jeanne Allshouse, his children Tiffany, Dylana, and Tony, his partner’s daughters Jackie, Janice, and Vicki, his sisters Eve and Felicia, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents Emiterio and Florence Quival, his siblings Don, Cecil, Pat, and Fran, his daughter Karen, and his grandchildren Brendon, Starlie, and Christopher.
Terry was born in San Francisco and came from a large family of seven children. He joined the Navy and served his country with honor. He had a lifelong passion for cars, which he discovered at a young age. He was a gifted mechanic who loved to build, race, and talk about cars. He worked for over 55 years in various auto shops, specializing in restoring classic cars to their original glory. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer advice to anyone who needed it. He was also involved in car clubs and car shows, where he enjoyed showing off his 42 Ford, 40 Ford, and 65 Shelby.

Terry was a cheerful and generous person who always had a smile on his face. He loved traveling in the RV, boating, water skiing, and camping with his family and friends. He especially loved Lake Berryessa, where he spent about 52 years relaxing and having fun. He also loved music, sports, and animals. He had a positive impact on everyone he met and was loved and cherished by many.
