Harrison Jameson Obituary, Death Cause: Police have identified the man in his 20s who died following a collision in Newry on Tuesday night as Harrison from the Cavan region. It is believed that between 9.30 and 11 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, the 23-year-silver old’s Ford Focus overturned on Dublin Road in Cloghoge, Newry.

Around 11 a.m. on the morning of the following Wednesday, October 19, police learned of the single-vehicle traffic collision. The PSNI is making an informational appeal and is requesting contact from anyone who was traveling in the Dublin Road/A1 vicinity at the time the collision took place.

Neil Harrison, a sergeant, said: “On Wednesday, October 19, shortly after 11 a.m., police were notified of a single-vehicle traffic collision. We currently think that Mr. Jameson’s silver Ford Focus left the road between the hours of 9.30 and 11 the night before, on Tuesday, October 17.”

We have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision and are renewing our request for information and We are requesting that anyone who was on the road near the time of the collision, or who may have seen it happen or recorded it on their dashcam, call officers with the Collision Investigation Unit at 101 and reference 546 of October 19, 22.
