Jack Diamond Obituary, Death Cause: According to a press release from Diamond Schmitt, architect Jack Diamond, whose pen created the Four Seasons Center, the Museum metro station, the Richmond Hill Central Library, and the Holy Flower Synagogue, passed away on Sunday afternoon.

Jack Diamond, a South African native, first studied architecture before enrolling in Oxford’s politics, philosophy, and economics programs. In the early 1960s, he relocated to Philadelphia before arriving in Toronto. In 1968, he began his career as an architect.

His memories of South Africa’s apartheid regime are forever etched in his mind. Don Schmidt, his business partner, thinks the architect has maintained his feeling of activism despite his decision to leave South Africa.
