A staunch Duke alumnus, Baugh has held several leadership positions at the university over the years. He is a guest committee member of the Fuqua School of Business and the Pratt School of Engineering. He has also served on the Engineering Development Council, the Engineering Dean’s Council, and the President’s Association, and has led the College of Arts and Sciences Council of Deans. From 1971-72, he chaired the Duke University National Council, which eventually became the Duke University Alumni Association.
