Jalil Sosa Illera Death – An ongoing investigation was being conducted into the deadly stabbing that occurred on a Metro E Line train in the University Park neighborhood. The victim was a 27-year-old man. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers went to the LATTC/Ortho Institute station in the 2400 block of South Flower Street, which is located close to Adams Boulevard, at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was reported by the police that paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the site and transported Jalil Sosa Illera to a hospital, where he ultimately passed away. According to officials from the Metro, trains on the E Line have stopped operating in the area to make room for the inquiry. In accordance with the information provided by the transit agency, trains were making a turn back at the Pico and Jefferson stations.

The individual who was suspected of the crime was described as being roughly 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing spectacles, and weighing 120 pounds. The last time anyone saw him, he was dressed in a black pullover with white lettering on the front, alongside light blue pants and black shoes. His age is estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old, according to the investigators. One could not determine the reason for the attack.
