James Thompson Obituary, Death Cause: An off-duty Raleigh police officer was identified among 5 killed in a North Carolina mass shooting.
29-year-old officer Gabriel Torres, 16-year-old James Roger Thompson, 34-year-old Mary Marshall, 49-year-old Susan Karnatz, and 52-year-old Nicole Conners are now identified as victims in Thursday’s mass shooting in East Raleigh, NC.
According to authorities, the shooting started around 5:00 p.m. near Neuse River Greenway in the Hedingham neighborhood near Osprey Cove Drive and Bay Harbor Drive.
The shooter is identified as 15-year-old Austin Thompson. His brother, James was one of the victims.
