Jeanette Guzman Obituary – Jeanette Gutzman of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in Knoxville. She was a beloved 6th-grade ELA teacher at T. W. Hunter Middle School for over 25 years.

Shana Pounders Lee of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, wrote on Facebook; Jeanette Butler Gutzman became my friend 30 years ago and I had the honor of being a youth minister to her children. Who knew that years later she would minister to my own kids in public schools?!? In the past year and a half, she held a special place in Reese’s life. Reese got moved into her home room by Dr B at her request, and she has looked out for Reese ever since. Reese felt safe with her. Even as a 7th grader, she would go see Ms. Gutzman if she was anxious, felt sick, or having a bad day. My heart hurts, but not nearly as much as her children and grandchildren. I love you guys, and I love your sweet momma!!!
