Jessica Walsh Car Accident: McFarland, 3 Killed in Car Crash

Michael J. Walsh, Angela M. Walsh and Jessica M. Walsh died tragically in a car accident on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

The car accident left the entire town in shock and grief. As the community prepares to say goodbye to this loving family, they also come together to celebrate the incredible life they have led.

This tragic car accident killed 3 people including: Michael J. Walsh, Angela M. Walsh, and their daughter Jessica M. Walsh on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5306 Main St, McFarland, WI 53558. Private family burial will happen at a later date.

Who was Jessica Walsh?

Jessica M. Walsh was born September 16, 1996 in Des Moines Iowa to Mike and Angela (Hauser) Walsh. She graduated from Fisher High School at Ball State University with a BA in Meteorology with a minor in Astrophysics, and worked on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera Project at NASA at Arizona State University. She is part of the doctoral program in the Department of Astronomy and Planetary Sciences at Northern Arizona University.

Jessie is continuing her Moon Hill research from her previous work and continuing it into her PhD. She is writing a thesis on her lunar work and discovery. Jesse plans to turn to Mars research after completing his work on the moon. She’s getting a sample of a Martian meteorite. Jessica is working on a vision project (visible and infrared viewing systems). Her name appears on a plaque about the project and future Mars missions to Mars.

Who was Michael J. Walsh & Angela M. Walsh?

Michael J. Walsh was born to January, 9, 1964, to Thomas and Barbara Walsh in Joliet. He was married to the love of his life, Angela Walsh (nee Hauser), and they had a son, Derick Walsh and a daughter, Jessica Walsh.

Angela Walsh was born September 20, 1966 in Denison, Iowa to Richard and Mavis Hauser. Angela was always an outstanding student and attended Iowa State University, which is where she met her husband Michael Walsh during her sophomore year. She graduated from college and was married in 1989. Angela spent the majority of her life being a full-time loving mother to her 2 children, Derick and Jessica, and a committed wife to her husband Michael J. Walsh

Jessica Walsh Obituary & Funeral

The Funeral Mass for Michael, Angela, and Jessica Walsh will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 5306 Main St, McFarland, WI 53558. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the local St. Vincent DePaul Society, a cause close to Mike and Angela’s hearts.
