Jimmy Millar Obituary, Death Cause: Jimmy Millar was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a center-forward for Dunfermline Athletic, Rangers, Dundee United, and the Scotland national team.

In 2017, Millar’s family revealed that he had been experiencing dementia for the previous ten years, a condition they attributed to his heading a football. On October 20, 2022, Millar passed away at the age of 87. The forward, who was born in Edinburgh, won three league championships, five Scottish Cups, and three League Cups during that time.

Millar left Dunfermline Athletic, where he had played as a half-back and was signed by Rangers manager Scot Symon for £5000 on January 12, 1955. He had also played in that position frequently during the early seasons of his career at Ibrox. When Millar started scoring goals frequently during a preseason tour of America while playing center forward, he experienced greater success.
