The 38-year-old Crystal Goforth, a fellow officer, was the driver of the Levelland Animal Control truck that Corder, 41, was riding in.
Around 10:00 am, the two were responding to a call and had their car parked on the shoulder when it was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado being driven by Adrian Lozano, 42, of Texas, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
