Joseph Ancona Obituary, Death Cause: Around 5 o’clock in the afternoon, 20-year-old Joseph Ancona apparently attempted to enter a southbound No. 1 train at the station off 59th Street when his clothing became entangled in a subway door. 24th of October, according to city police.

The victim was dragged after that and hit by [another] train, according to the NYPD.

Police reported that Ancona was declared dead at the spot.
