Katlyn Montgomery Obituary, Death Cause: North Carolina man arrested in murder of Bedford County woman; Who is Trenton Frye? 28-year-old Trenton Frye is charged with second-degree murder for the death of 28-year-old Katlyn Montgomery of Forest.
Montgomery was found to be unresponsive when Bedford County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene on October 7 at Madison View Drive in Forest. When she arrived at Lynchburg General Hospital, she passed away the following day.
Katlyn Montgomery Cause of Death
Frye was recognized as a suspect during a combined investigation by the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was apprehended in Greensboro, North Carolina, on October 20, 2022. He is awaiting his return to Bedford through extradition.
Katlyn is the daughter of Lynchburg Sheriff’s Office secretary Crystal (Dede) Sale.
