Ken Calvert Death – Ken Calvert, longtime Detroit Radio DJ and Detroit Pistons PA announcer during the Bad Boys era has passed away, he was 72 years old. During the Bad Boys era, Calvert served as the public address announcer for the Detroit Pistons for a period of sixteen years. He worked for a number of radio stations in the city of Detroit for a total of forty-five years.

At this point in time, the precise cause of his passing is unknown. The city of Detroit is where Calvert was born and reared, and he attended Brother Rice High School and graduated. After graduating from Oakland Community College, he continued his education at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids.

Calvert took his retirement from WCSX on December 20, 2013, which was precisely ten years before he passed away. A podcast called “The Ken Calvert Show” was also presented by him.

Ken Calvert was born in Detroit and raised there. Brother Rice High School graduate with collegiate studies at Aquinas collegiate in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He studied broadcasting, voice, and acting at OCC in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Ken has worked as a radio broadcaster and freelance voice-over announcer for the past forty-four years. He has also worked as a local and regional promotion and marketing manager for Sony Music Corporation (Columbia Records), specializing in artist development, marketing, and retail. Ken presently enjoys podcasting and ordering children to get off his yard!
