Lucia Colacci Obituary, Death Cause: According to reports, members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal collision on Pigeon Lake Road Monday morning.
At approximately 8:30 am emergency services were dispatched to the single vehicle rollover from which the lone occupant was transported to the hospital.
The 51-year-old female driver, now identified as Lucia Colacci from Peterborough was later pronounced deceased.
Pigeon Lake Road was closed for several hours from Heights Road to Sturgeon Road, while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Collision Reconstructionists were brought in to investigate.
