Matthew Thornton Obituary: Owner and Coach of Hyperswole Gym Matthew Thornton of Jacksonville, Florida has sadly passed away on Thursday 2nd November 2023.

Matthew Thornton attended Georgia Southern University where he earned his Bachelor of Science – BS, Fashion/Apparel Design. He was the owner and head strength coach and program designer for Hyperswole Sports Performance Gym.

The world lost a good soul today. Matthew Thornton helped so many athletes in this city and cared about the youth so much. He had so much love for my family. He was a huge part of my brothers young success in their athletic careers letting them/us train at his gym at any time of the day.. he painted them on his wall at the gym,there was even a time where he gave me a KEY to make sure they didn’t miss a workout before they went off to college.

The community lost an OG and there isn’t a question about it.. RIP big dawg! Praying for all of your family and friends. Much love.

Matthew Thornton’s obituary and funeral service will be released by the family.
