Melissa Wright Obituary, Death Cause: According to the Marshfield Police Department in a press release, officers responded to a home on Sycamore Ave for a welfare check of 41-year-old Melissa Wright on Tuesday morning, after a co-worker had called after Wright did not show up for work, police said.
Upon officers arrival at the home, they found a vehicle registered to 48-year-old Heath Heck parked in the driveway. The front door was damaged consistent with a break-in, police said. Officers performed a protective sweep of the home and found both Wright and Heck dead.
