Michael Baker Obituary, Death Cause: 31-year-old Michael Baker, a resident of Anderson, was killed in a deadly train accident on Monday afternoon, according to the Madison County coroner’s office.
According to a Madison County Sheriff’s Department press statement, Baker passed away at the scene of the accident, which happened at the Superior Street railroad crossing, south of Oak Street, around 3:30 p.m.
A northbound 2012 Dodge Avenger was struck by an eastbound Norfolk Southern Railway train on the front driver’s side.
