According to the reports, Mike Fanning’s family released a statement to confirm the news of his tragic demise. the NFL veteran passed away on Sunday, October 30. The late footballer was 69 years old at the time of his death.

Mike Fanning was an American professional football player best remembered for his ten years as a defensive tackle in the NFL (National Football League).

Mike Fanning was born on February 2, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is a South Central state in the United States.

Mike pursued higher education at the University of Notre Dame. He had 164 tackles in his first season of collegiate football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Mike was a starter for the Fighting Irish at defensive tackle in 1973 and 1974, and his performances there earned him first-team All-American honors from the Walter Camp Foundation.

In 2009, Mike joined the University of Tulsa athletic department and worked there for 14 years. He started working with the group ticket sales, before being the special assistant for administration and operations, until his demise.
