Motorcycle Accident Columbia, SC: Motorcyclist killed in Monday night crash in Richland County.

In a tragic incident on Monday night, the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that a motorbike collided with a car on Interstate 20, resulting in the death of one individual and causing injury to another.

According to Master Trooper Gary Miller, a two-vehicle collision occurred in Richland County at approximately 7:10 p.m. According to Miller, a 2016 Nissan Versa was lawfully halted on the median of I-20, specifically near the 76-mile marker in Columbia, South Carolina, near the junction with Interstate 77.

According to Miller, a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling in an easterly direction on I-20 when it collided with the rear of a Nissan.

According to Miller, the motorbike rider has tragically passed away.

The identity of the motorbike rider has not been publicly disclosed by the Richland County Coroner’s Office.

According to Miller, the Nissan driver sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to a local hospital.
