Noah Roberts Death – The 21-year-old man who died in a tragic car accident on Ontario Highway 7 has been identified. Police said Noah Roberts, of Manilla, Brock Township, Ont. passed away in the vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of the highway and Emily Park Road, which is just about 3.5 kilometers east of the village of Omemee.

The collision occurred at 7:40 a.m., according to the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP, and included an automobile and a commercial motor vehicle. The driver of the car, a 21-year-old guy from Manilla in Brock Township, Ont., was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

A 22-year-old male from Sunderland, Ont., was transported to a hospital in the Toronto region with life-threatening injuries. The second motorist, a 44-year-old Oshawa male, was taken to a nearby hospital. Highway 7 remains closed from Emily Park Road to Orange Corners Road as of midday as the OPP investigates.

Following the incident, The Brock Rugby Club released the following statement; “It is with our deepest condolences that we announce the passing of Noah Roberts. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Roberts family at this time. Noah was a great kid and we will miss him. That contagious smile and laugh always had the surrounding people smiling. Wherever the Roberts boys went, the party and fun were to follow.”

Noah was so dedicated to his friends and the club, even though he didn’t play the last season, he was at every practice and game. He was always willing to help and would take the shirt off his back for anyone. More details to follow in regards to a visitation and a funeral.
