Phillip Brundage Death – Phillip Brundage, a resident of Haubstadt, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the age of 44. He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “Please keep my sweet friend and her boys in your prayers. We will be saying a rosary after Mass at Sts Peter & Paul on Monday night for Monica and family.” The circumstances surrounding Phillip Brundage’s cause of death were not made public by the family at the time of this publication.
After learning that Phillip Brundage, 42, of Haubstadt, had reportedly fondled a male under the age of 14, Indiana State Police opened a criminal investigation. Detective Tobias Odom of the Indiana State Police disclosed that Brundage reportedly fondled the male victim in the summer of 2018 throughout the course of the investigation. The Gibson County Prosecutors Office reviewed the investigation and then issued an arrest warrant for Brundage for Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Level 5 Felony.
After turning himself in at the Gibson County Jail, Brundage was taken into custody. Brundage later posted bond and was set free. In 2023, he entered a guilty plea to the child pornography allegations from 2020. Phillip Brundage acknowledged downloading and owning thousands of pornographic photos of kids having sex, according to a press statement. On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, Brundage entered a guilty plea to the level six felony offense.
Phillip Joseph Brundage was born on April 17, 1979. Phillip married Monica Tremps on June 14, 2003 in Cambridge City, Indiana. He was a member of St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt. A husband to Monica Brundage and father to three sons Taylor, Owen and Eli Brundage.

A Funeral Mass for Phillip Brundage will be held at 1:00 p.m. EST, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Father Biju and Father Andrew will officiate the service. Visitation will be held at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg on Tuesday from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. EST, prior to the service.
