San Diego Shooting: Officer, suspect hurt at 4S Ralphs grocery store on Commons Drive

San Diego Shooting Investigations – San Diego Police Department, San Diego Fire, and San Diego Paramedics are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting early Friday. According to law enforcement agencies, a San Diego Police officer was injured following a stolen vehicle investigation at the 4S Commons Town Center. The incident happened at the shopping center at approximately 11:35 p.m. in the 10511-10543 4S Commons Dr, San Diego, CA.

Heavy police presence is currently at the scene and also around Interstate-15 where law enforcement agencies. A suspect was also shot and injured in the incident. Following the incident, Ralph’s parking lot at 10525 4S Commons Dr, was blocked off. Everyone has been urged to avoid the area at this time.

Law enforcement agencies responded to the scene where an officer was located suffering from an apparent gunshot injury. The officer identified only as an officer with the San Diego Police Department was transported by EMS to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla in unknown condition. The condition of the suspect involved remains unknown at this time.
