Shooting in Finglas Today – This evening, two men were hurt in what appears to be a gangland shooting in west Dublin; one of them is critically injured. GARDAÍ ARE AT THE SCENE. The event occurred in a restaurant in the middle of the village of Blanchardstown, resulting in at least one man suffering upper body injuries. It is reported that the victim, who is in his late 40s, has been taken to Connolly Hospital by the Gardaí, who are currently on the site.

Additionally, the second man was taken to the hospital. According to sources, he might have died as a result of a stabbing or a gunshot wound received during the shooting. One idea, according to sources, is that the man who died was hurt during a scuffle that followed the initial gunfire. This man was not part of the group dining at the restaurant, nor is he related to the second victim. It is believed that the second wounded victim, a man in his 40s, was shot while eating dinner with relatives and friends.

He comes from a prominent family in the Blanchardstown neighborhood. At the time of the shooting, the restaurant was packed, and footage of patrons hiding under tables is making the rounds on social media. It is believed that several kids were present in the establishment at the time of the incident. In several of the recordings, a woman is seen removing two little children from the scene. Popular with families, the restaurant is situated near Castleknock on Blanchardstown village’s Main Street.
