Tanya Pardazi died Saturday in Innisfil, Ont., while completing her first solo dive with Skydive Toronto, according to friends. She Died on 27 August at Roughly 5:40 p.m.

The company said in a statement Sunday that the student “released a rapidly rotating main parachute at low altitude, without the time or altitude required to inflate the reserve parachute.”

She was taken to a hospital where she was declared brought dead.
