The suspect arrested In the deadly hit-and run of Ronald Keith Williams Jr has been identified as Theophilus A. Rose, of Lafayette, Louisiana.
Williams was 43 years old at the time of the fatal strike by a hit-and-run driver in Lafayette on October 17.
Williams was reportedly on foot on the side of the roadway in the 5100 block of West Congress when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Rose. Rose then fled the scene leaving Williams injured on the roadway.
Theo Rose is the 22 years old who has been charged with felony leaving the scene of a fatal crash that occurred on West Congress Street in Lafayette.
Thursday Rose surrendered himself at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center where he was booked on an outstanding warrant. Rose was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
