Tia Gorrell Car Accident: Pregnant Houma woman dies in three-vehicle crash in Assumption Parish, Louisiana on Tuesday, August 1.

Tia Gorrell, 23, was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla north on LA 308 with a 2014 RAM 2500 and a camper in tow trailer. Kendall Dollar, 38, was driving south when his 2014 Jeep Wrangler crossed the center line, sideways hit the ram and head-on into Tia Gorrell, according to Louisiana State Police.

A pregnant woman died in a three-vehicle crash in Assumption Parish on Tuesday, August 1.

State police identified the victim as Houma resident Tia Gorrell, 23. The collision occurred on Highway 308, south of Highway 1011, just before 11 am.

Tia Gorrell, who was pregnant, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, according to LSP.

Dollar suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken by Acadian Ambulance AirMed to a New Orleans area hospital for treatment, according to LSP.

Who was Tia Gorrell?

Tia Gorrell, a 23-year-old resident of Houma and a pregnant woman, lost her life in the accident. The crash involved a 2014 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Kendall Dollar, 38, which crossed the center line and collided with two oncoming vehicles.
