Tyler Girard Car Accident, Death Cause: Louisiana State Police Troop I Spokesman Trooper Thomas Gossen says that 27-year-old Tyler Nicole Girard of Breaux Bridge failed to stop at a stop sign on Bourque Road around 8 p.m. on Monday night, when her car was struck by a pickup truck, causing her vehicle to cross the median on Louisiana Highway 167 and ended up hitting a shed on private property.
The Lafayette Parish Coroner’s Office declared Girard dead at the scene despite the fact that he was belted in.
