Mom Killed, 2 Kids Injured After Hammer Attack

According to media reports, he is the roommate of the victim Zhao Zhao and his children. The incident happened shortly before 2pm. In an apartment on 52nd Street in Sunset Park on Wednesday. When NYPD officers arrived at the second-floor apartment in the 14-story building, they found a 43-year-old mother, her 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter inside. All three victims suffered serious head injuries and are in critical condition.

Ye was arrested Wednesday after that brutal attack, which was caught on cellphone video. He is facing charges of murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
